BECKETT Cottrell's a perfectionist though ... he won't just give up ... He breaks off as he sees a shadow moving on the curtains. He steps, quietly towards the window. 47. EXT. ROS' BALCONY. NIGHT. 47. ED, the climber, is now hanging from the balcony above ROS' one. His legs dangle. In a sudden motion BECKETT opens the balcony doors and steps out, grabbing the legs of the climbing ED. ED Oy! BECKETT yanks and pulls ED down. And now we see exactly who the climbing man is - ED, the helicopter pilot from the teaser. The pair of them, BECKETT and ED, roll into the room, fighting .. 48. INT. ROS' FLAT. LOUNGE. DAY. 48. ROS comes in from the kitchen. ROS Ed! ED Ros? BECKETT, about to punch ED to hold back his fist. BECKETT You know him? ROS He lives on the top.floor. ED gets to his feet, he's a cheerful bloke in his late twenties. BECKETT holds out his hand to shake. BECKETT Nick Beckett.
