Name: Alex Jordan Date of Birth: Unknown
Background Information: (Season 3)
Initially employed as
a part of Roland Blattys Bureau of Weapons [S3E10] Alex is
the only survivor of the Cyberax incident. When the Bureau is closed down and the files
transferred to the Central Office of Records and Archives, Alex travels with them [S3E1], which is where she first meets and initially defends the
records from Nick Beckett. (using her not inconsiderable martial arts skills). She is soon
persuaded to help gain information on the secret Underground Weapons dump discovered by
Andrew McHaig, and it is clear that from their first meeting that she has a soft spot for
the Bureau Chief. However it is Ed for whom she develops a genuine affection, though the
path to true love is anything but smooth for the pair [S3E10] The
interference of an ex-girlfriend almost throws a spanner in the works [S3E8]
but in time an understanding has developed [S3E10]. As soon as
Alex accepts that with Ed its "what you see is what you get"
there is
really not a problem between them [S3E9]
Alex is a quick
thinker and is keen to use her initiative whenever possible [S3E2] although occasionally her lack of foresight and concentration has
nearly been her undoing [S3E3] [S3E4]: this has led to a number of
basic field errors [S3E5]. She is also obviously keen to expand
her skills base, and looks to Ros as her teacher [S3E7] Her
knowledge of government institutions and practices has been invaluable on many occasions [S3E10] and she makes a valuable addition to the Bureau team.
Although she does not always act in a manner that DOIC Jan agrees with [S3E4]
her imput and skills have rapidly become indispensable...
